Have you ever looked towards the future and thought about how it would be?
More specifically, have you ever thought about how you would feel when you reach a certain age or stage in your life?
I used to look at other people and do this all the time. I would look at someone and say, “When I am that persons age I will have it all together.” Sometimes I would look at people and be judgmental! I would say, “That person should really have it together at their age, what is wrong with them!”
I don’t think that I am alone in this. I think most people look at others who are at different stages of life and think that they will be different when they themselves reach that stage. Like something miraculous will happen that will transform them from who they are today to a different, more together person in the future.
